I am currently working with an AM LAW ranked firm, who are actively looking to recruit an associate to join their real estate finance group in Chicago.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of real estate finance matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate finance documents, including loan agreements, promissory notes, and security agreements.
- Conduct due diligence on real estate transactions, identifying legal issues and providing strategic advice to clients.
- Collaborate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful real estate finance transactions.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the Illinois Bar.
- 2+ years of experience practicing real estate finance law, with a focus on commercial transactions.
- Strong knowledge of real estate finance concepts, including mortgage lending, loan structuring, and risk management.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality legal services and building strong client relationships.
